زمینه و هدف :هدف از پژوهش حاضر، بررسی وضعیت نگرش نسبت به سالمندان و ارتباط آن با ترس از پیری در کارکنان خدمات سلامت بیمارستان‌های تامین اجتماعی استان مازندران در سال ۱۳۹۷ بود .روش :روش پژوهش، مقطعی بود .جامعه آماری مطالعه حاضر را، کلیه کارکنان خدمات سلامت بیمارستان‌های تامین اجتماعی استان مازندران تشکیل دادند .تعداد ۲۳۲ نفر با روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه‌ای به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند .برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسش‌نامه نگرش نسبت به سالمندان کوگان و پرسش‌نامه ترس از پیری لاشر و فولکندر استفاده شد .تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS و آزمون‌های همبستگی پیرسون، تی مستقل و تحلیل واریانس یک‌راهه انجام گرفت .یافته‌ها :میانگین سنی مشارکت کنندگان( ۶/۳۹)۳۷/۸۵ سال و میانگین نگرش نسبت به سالمندان( ۱۲۴/۵۶۱۲/۹۶) و ترس از پیری( ۶۷/۹۰۱۰/۶۰) بود .بین نمره نگرش نسبت به سالمندان با ترس از پیری در کارکنان خدمات سلامت بیمارستان های تامین اجتماعی استان مازندران رابطه منفی و معناداری وجود داشت=(r۳۵.۰=sig ,۰۰۱.۰ .)یعنی هرچه نگرش کارکنان خدمات سلامت نسبت به سالمندان بهتر می شود، ترس از پیری در میان آنها کاهش می یابد .بین سن، قومیت و سن پدر مشارکت کنندگان با نگرش نسبت به سالمندان ارتباط مثبت و معناداری وجود داشت .اما بین سایر متغیرهای جمعیت شناختی با نگرش نسبت به سالمندان و ترس از پیری ارتباط معناداری مشاهده نشد .نتیجه‌گیری :با توجه به اینکه بین نگرش نسبت به سالمندان با ترس از پیری کارکنان خدمات سلامت ارتباط معناداری وجود داشت .لذا توصیه می‌شود برنامه هایی در راستای ارتقاء نگرش کارکنان خدمات سلامت نسبت به سالمندان و همچنین توجه بر ابعاد مثبت سالمندی مانند تجربه وخردمندی در رسانه های جمعی برای کاهش ترس از پیری برگزار گردد .کلید واژگان :نگرش نسبت به سالمندان، ترس از پیری، کارکنان خدمات سلامت .

Background and Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine attitude toward the elderly and its relation to the fear of aging in the social security hospital health care workers of Mazandaran province in the year 97. Method: The research method was cross-sectional. The statistical population of this study was all the health care workers of the social security hospitals of Mazandaran province. 232 people were selected by random sampling method. To collect data, a questionnaire on attitude towards elderly people in Koegan and a questionnaire on fear of aging of Lasher and Faulkender were used. The data were analyzed using SPSS software, Pearson correlation, independent t-test and one way analysis of variance. findings:Average age of participants 37.85(6.39) and mean attitude toward the elderly (124.56 12.96) and fear of aging (67.99 10.60). There was a significant negative correlation between the attitude towards the elderly with fear of aging in the health care workers of social security hospitals in Mazandaran province (r = 0.35, sig = 0.001). That is, the attitude of health care workers is much higher than the elderly. The fear of aging is reduced among them. There was a positive and significant relationship between age, nationality and father's age with attitude towards the elderly. However, there was no significant relationship between other demographic variables with attitude towards the elderly and fear of aging. Conclusion: Also, the attitude towards the elderly was correlated with fear of aging of health care workers. Therefore, it is recommended that programs be made to improve the attitude of health care workers towards the elderly and to focus on the positive aspects of aging such as experience and wisdom in the mass media in order to reduce the fear of aging.
