Among field crop, canola has the third grade in providing oil after soybean and palm. It has 39-45 oil and 32-40 protein. Drought stress is a serious problem for plant growth and crop production in many areas of the world wide. Since flowering and grain filling stages of oilseed rape in most cropping conditions of Iran usually coincides with the dry period, studying the effect of water deficit on canola has a special importance.Presence of wide genetic diversity in canola was adapted, some of canola genotypes to dry areas. Under such as condition, increasing genetic diversity and then utilizing it for the selection of the best adapt materials can be a useful strategy. The main purpose of this study was evaluation of genetic diversity in canola genotypes using morphological and physiological characters under water deficit condition.
