کتاب فاخر، استوار و قویم تاریخ بیهقی، علاوه بر اینکه کتابی تاریخی است و در اسلوب تاریخ‌نگاری سبک و سیاق منحصر به فردی دارد، به لحاظ آرایه های ادبی متنوع و ارزشمند و همچنین از لحاظ معانی و بیان هم متنی غنی و آراسته است؛ و در سبک نویسندگی از زیبایی های ادبی و تخیل‌برانگیز برخوردار است .از زیبایی های تاریخ بیهقی، استفاده‌ی کافی از کنایات بسیط و مرکب و استعارات و امثال و حکم است .این پایان‌نامه سعی کرده است در بررسی هایی، ملاک های تفاوت و مشابهت کنایات مرکب با امثال و حک‍ـــم بکار برده شده در متن تاریخ بیهقی را مشخص نموده، کنایات و امثال و حکم متن آن را احصاء و در مواردی تحلیل کند .در راستای این امر، بعضی مفاهیم ادبی مرتبط هم بررسی و تفکیک می‌شوند تا خواننده تفاوت و افتراق اصطلاحات هم ردیف را بداند؛ و علت غربال شدن بعضی عبارات و ترکیبات را دریابد؛ لذا در متن پایان‌نامه اصطلاحات و آرایه‌هایی مانند تمثیل ها، تلمیحات، حکایات و ...نیز بررسی شده است .در نهایت، این پایان نامه کنایات استفاده شده در تاریخ بیهقی و همچنین امثال و حکم بکار برده شده در متن کتاب را احصاء و تجزیه و تحلیل کرده و در اغلب موارد با آوردن نظایر و معانی آن‌ها، اطلاعات لازم را درباره‌ی هرکدام ارائه می‌کند

The glorious and firm book of Beyhaqi history, in addition to being a historical book has a unique historiographical style. It is rich and beautiful in terms of literary arrays, as well as in terms of meanings and expression, and it has literary and imaginative beauties in its writing style. One of the beauties of Beyhaqi's history is the sufficient use of simple and complex metonymy, metaphors and apothegms. This study has tried to determine the difference and similarity of the complex metonymies with the apothegms used in the text of Beyhaqi's history. The metonymies and apothegms of the text have been detected and in some cases, they have been analyzed. In this regard, some related literary concepts have been examined and separated so that the reader can know the difference between different terms and find the reason for the screening of some phrases and combinations. Therefore, in the text of the dissertation, items such as allegories, allusions, anecdotes, etc. have been evaluated. Finally, this study has counted and analyzed the metonymies and apothegms used in the history of Bayhaqi.
