واژه افسردگی برای توصیف یک حالت روانی، مجموعه‌صای از علائم و یا یک گروه ازاختلال‌صهای خاص به کار می-رود .افسردگی پاسخ طبیعی آدمی به فشارهای زندگی است .عدم موفقیت در تحصیل یا کار، از دست دادن یکی از عزیزان و آگاهی از اینکه بیماری یا پیری توان ما را تحلیل می‌صبرد و غیره از جمله موقعیت‌صهایی هستند که اغلب موجب بروز افسردگی می‌صشوند .اختلال افسردگی صرف نظر از تنوع آن، نسبتا شایع هستند .بدین معنی که حدود ۱۷/۰ مردم در طول زندگی یک دوره افسردگی حاد پیدا می‌صکنند .بنابر اهمیت روزافزون سلامت روانی در جامعه امروزی از این رو هدف محقق در پژوهش حاضر بررسی جامعه شناختی افسردگی در بین دانشجویان دختر خوابگاه‌صهای شهدای دانشگاه تبریز می‌صباشد .این پزوهش از نوع کاربردی و با هدف تبیینی بوده و روش اجرای تحقیق، پیمایش می‌صباشد که برای گردآوری داده‌صها از ابزار پرسشنامه استفاده شده است .نمونه پژوهش ۳۰۰ نفر از دانشجویان دختر خوابگاه شهدا در تبریز بوده که به روش نمونه گیری خوشه‌صای چندمرحله‌صای انتخا شده اند .بر اساس نتایج به دست‌صآمده میانگین افسردگی برابر با ۹۸/۶۷ می‌صباشد که نشان می‌صدهد افسردگی پاسخگویان در حد پایین می‌صباشد .یافته‌صهای پژوهش حاکی از آن است که رابطه معنادار و مستقیمی بین متغیرهای زمینه‌صای تحصیلات پدر و مادر، تاهل، مقطع تحصیلی، درآمد، تعلق طبقاتی، ارزش مسکن و ارزش خودرو پاسخگویان با افسردگی وجود دارد .همچنین رابطه مستقیم و معناداری بین متغیرهای افسردگی، اعتیاد به اینترنت، عزت نفس و سرمایه اجتماعی وجود دارد .همچنین نتایج تحلیل رگرسیونی چند متغیره حاکی از آن است که دو متغیر عزت نفس و اعتیاد به اینترنت در مجموع ۹/۵۱ درصد از تغییرات متغیر وابسته) افسردگی (را تبیین می‌کنند

The word depression is used to describe a mental state, a set of signs or a set of special disorders. Depression is a natural reaction to pressures of life. Educational or job failure, losing one of the dears or knowing that a disease or aging decreasing abilities and etc are some of cases causing depression. Apart from its variety, depression is relatively prevalent. It means that about seventeen percent of people suffer from an acute depression period during their lives. According to the increasing importance of mental health in modern society, the researcher tries to examine depression among female students of shohada dormitory of Tabriz University. The project is practical with determining goal and its method is survey research and questionnaire is used to collect the data. The sample of the project is 300 of female students of Shohada dormitory in Tabriz University that are chosen by multi stage clustering sampling method. According to conclusions the average depression is 67/98 that shows the depression of the responders is law. The research shows that there is a meaningful and direct relation between dependent variables like parents' education, marriage, education level, income, gentility, house and car value of responders and depression. Also there is a direct and meaningful relation between depressions, internet addiction, self-confidence and social capital. The results of regression analysis of some variables show that the two variables( self-confidence and internet addiction) explain totally 51/9 percent of dependent variable (depression)
