زمینه و هدف :نگرش‌صها نشانگر احساسات ما در مورد پدیده های این جهان هستند .محققان بر این باورند که نگرش‌صهای مربوط به گفتار در افراد مبتلا به لکنت همانند تظاهرات حرکتی گفتار آن‌صها ، بخشی اصلی از اختلال است و باید در ارزیابی و درمان مورد توجه قرار گیرد .آزمون نگرش ارتباطی در بزرگسالان) بیگ‌صکت (ابزاری است که نگرش ارتباطی را در بزرگسالان دارای لکنت می سنجد .هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی ترجمه، روایی و پایایی آزمون بیگ‌صکت در بزرگسالان فارسی زبان مبتلا به لکنت می‌صباشد .روش بررسی :این پژوهش از نوع مقطعی و توصیفی- تحلیلی بود و روی 90 فرد با لکنت و 90 فرد بدون لکنت، که همگی بیش از 18 سال سن داشتند، اجرا شد .بعد از ترجمه و معادل سازی آزمون بیگ‌صکت به زبان فارسی، روایی محتوایی آن بر اساس نظر صاحب‌صنظران مشخص شد .سپس بررسی روایی همزمان، این آزمون به همراه آزمون نگرش ارتباطی S24 بر روی افراد مبتلا به لکنت انجام شد .اعتبار آزمون با استفاده از ضریب آلفای کرونباخ و اعتبار آزمون- بازآزمون محاسبه شد .یافته‌صها : :تمامی آیتم‌صهای آزمون دارای ترجمه مناسب و مطلوب بودند و همچنین روایی محتوایی مطلوبی داشتند .(75/0( 001/0 p، (=79/0r و ضریب آلفای کرونباخ برای کل آزمون 86/0 بدست آمد .همچنین همچنین نسخه فارسی بیگ‌صکت پایایی آزمون- بازآزمون بالایی داشت=(89/0ICC ، با فاصله اطمینان 95 بین 73/0 و .96/0) نتیجه‌صگیری :نتایج حاصل از پژوهش بیانگر این است که نسخه فارسی آزمون بیگ‌صکت از روایی و اعتبار مناسبی برای بزرگسالان مبتلا به لکنت فارسی زبان برخوردار می باشد

Background: Attitudes reflect our feelings about the world phenomena. As related to stuttering, attitudes are ones feeling and perception about his/her speech and communicative ability. Researchers believe that the attitudes of people who stutter are a main part of disorder as their motor speech failures, and should be addressed in the assessment and treatment. Clinicians use self-report measures to complete their understanding of stuttering. The Communication Attitude Test for Adults (BigCAT) is a powerful and one of the last instruments which made for assessment of speech related attitudes in adult who stutter. Aims: The purpose of this study was to establish normative and psychometric data for the Persian version of the Communication Attitude Test for Adults who Stutter (BigCAT), and to determine if there is a significant difference between the speech-associated attitude of Persian adults who stutter and their non-stuttering peers. Methods & Procedures: The Persian BigCAT was administered to 90 people who stutter (PWS) and 90 people who do not stutter (PWNS). After the translation of the test and its equalization to Persian Language, content validity was determined by the opinions of experts. Then the criterion validity with S24s test of communication attitude was determined in people who stutter. The reliability was examined using Cronbachs alpha and test-retest reliability. Outcome &Results: The results showed that the mean BigCAT score of PWS was statistically significantly higher than that of PWNS (p<0.001). The Cronbach Alfa coefficient for PWS and PWNS was high (0.88 and 0.83, respectively). The Intraclass Coefficient Correlation (ICC) was also strong (0.89). Conclusions & Implications: The present study suggests that the Persian BigCAT is a valid instrument and can be used for the pre, peri, and post-treatment assessment of speech-related attitude of those who stutter in Iran.
